Provides good support while standing or walking.

The material and make of this product are great. It's thick and sturdy. It stays in its place during constant movement, which is rare for some of these products.

This was recommended by a physical therapist. It’s easier to put on and it’s definitely supportive.

It does give some relief, but for me not 100% relief it's somewhat helpful

Only use the belt for one day but it does seem to alleviate my lower back pain when walking (Which was one of the triggers)

I have a lot of lower back problems and this belt was recommended by my PT to use while hiking on an upcoming trip. I am so happy that it came before I left!! It was a life saver. I could wear it under my clothes and be comfortable on every hike we took- no issues and the best part was that at the end of the hike I could take it off and continue to be okay. I would highly recommend.

I was having lower back pain as a result of pelvic issues from pregnancies and this helped tremendously. Obviously didn't make the pain go away for good but provided substantial pain relief while wearing it

I have been going through some lower back issues for the past year, and recently had a horrendous flare up. With the help of my doctor we are trying to work through what the actual issue is, and next steps require me to see an orthopedic specialist.Desperate for some pain relief, particularly when sitting down, I decided to look into getting a brace/belt of some sort. Scouring through I came across this product. In reading the reviews I was immediately hopeful as they made mention of symptoms and pain that very closely resonated with what I was going through - the sore lower back on one side, pain running down the leg, nerve pressure.The first day I received it I wore it straight away and was pleasantly surprised by how much comfort it provided almost immediately - the pain around my lower back subsided, I could actually bend over, the pain down my leg decreased. The true test was having to sit down and get up, and this product proved to be very helpful. Although I still experience pain when I have to get up from being seated, I'm no longer at a standstill with pain.I am a week into wearing this product, and it is recommended that you wear it for two weeks. In the past week not only has my physical ability improved but mentally I feel great, realising how debilitating being in chronic pain can be. This has also probably been the most effective thing in bringing down inflammation.Other great features about this product are that it's not overly bulky when you wear it, I am able to wear it under jeans, it's also very easy to put on and for the most part very comfortable. With prolong use parts of the belt can did into your skin a little bit but it's nothing horrendous. I am truly impressed by the quality of this product and highly recommend it for anyone going through similar back issues.

This one worked for me better than another one I ordered. It straps around with Velcro and then has two more Velcro straps that come around from the back. So it’s nice and snug I like it.

Almost instant relief, slept in, woke up 80% better, even better 3rd day. I've been wearing it almost nonstop with little breaks (bathroom, shower and eating). I'm very fluffy around torso (had c-section and overweight) so have to adjust it often if doing activities with alot of bending (yardwork,cleaning, exercise). A slim person would likely not have this issue with it.I've ordered another one that had good reviews also so have one to wear when waiting for this one to dry after handwashing, and to see if feels any different.Physical therapist advised against using support, however, was told by my chiropractor that they agree but 2% of the time if there is instability or over stretch ligaments in the SI joint, having some support will help give it time to heal. (not stretching or movement re-injuring it). Make sense because it feels so much better. They described it like having A sprained ankle.Maybe it's not the best thing for all conditions but certainly if have instability , while receiving treatment to gain stability or working with PT

I am a PT and have been having SI joint issues on and off for a few months. I do all the exercises, go get treatment, but it still bothers me every now and then. This has been a game changer for me. I’m not getting sharp pains when I wear it and I don’t feel like my hip/back are giving out. It’s comfortable. It does slide around a little if you squat/bend down, but well worth it.

This was recommended by my chiropractor when I was having issues with my SI Joint. It was affordable and offered support and relief. I used as directed by my doctor and felt relief.

This belt has been a godsend! I haven’t had to race to the bathroom in 2 days, and the pain is nearly gone. I can move around with so much more ease, I slept better, and all of that gave me way more energy. If you suffer from SI joint dysfunction, you definitely should give this belt a try.

I only give a review if product is terrible or stellar. This lumbar brace is stellar! I weigh 145 and am 5'4". The regular fits perfect and the straps to tighten it are great. It is also fantastic for any sciatica! I have binary stenosis on all lumbar vertebra and also on my lower thoracic vertebra. I'm in constant pain and sometimes have to use two braces but then they overlap which is uncomfortable. This brace is narrow enough to wear two of these braces comfortably as well as leaving me enough room to position them where I need them without overlapping. After receiving one and finding how well it fit with lumbar or thoracic pain, I ordered a second one the next day! It's been a long time since I could go a full day with little pain and being able to stand up straight and get up and down without so much pain. They are hand washable so I plan to wash them on the hand wash selection then air dry them.

Works ok.. not super comfortable to wear

I've been having back spasms related to various activities (running up a hill, falling, bending over too long) as well as issues related to a funky slight curve in my spine and nerve impingement. Back spasms tend to spasm in my lower back, causing my glutes to tighten, and can radiate into my left quads. Some days, the pain was so bad I had to use a walker to navigate to the kitchen or the bathroom (and I'm only 50!) . Home treatment was specific stretches, tissue massage, alternating heat/cold, and rest. Recovery time was anywhere from 2 days to a week.This...this is a blessing! The last bout I had, I put this on and was mobile without the walker. It immediately alleviated the pain in my quads. I was able to sleep in a comfortable position. Recovery with this and stretches and heat was under 2 days.So, after recovery, I didn't do anything too strenuous for about 3 or 4 days. I then began installing a fence and my quad started spasming. I stopped work that day and put this belt on, finding relief. The next day, I put the belt on first and then proceeded to finish the fence installation across the course of two days with no issues at all. I now use it as pre-emptive support when working on projects that require back and core muscles. When I do, I haven't had anything other than the standard all-over muscle soreness from a good day's work.As far as the practicality of it, you can fit it as snug as you like. I wear it under my t-shirt, sitting at the top of my hip bone when I'm working on home projects. I can keep it rather tight there without it squishing my stomach and that's the area that seems to provide the most support. It seems to be very well made, well-stitched and is still holding up well. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat if anything ever happens to the one I currently have.

Works great for SI-joint pain l. and better than a generic lumbar back brace! I keep it handy for days when almost any activity or bend, results in pain from a SI joint. Will allow pain to resolve without injections or opioids!As a spinal surgeon, this combined with specific exercises is a wonderful addition to treatment.Easy and quick to apply and remove.

I HIGHLY recommend this for hyper mobile people. Wear it low down on your hips to help with pelvis placement. It is so helpful and it feels so good.

I've been dealing with trochanteric bursitis and a glute muscle strain that is causing sciatica symptoms. I'm in PT but that hasn't been helping much. I decided to try a belt and this one sounded like a good one. So far I am very happy with it. It was very easy to get on and to get the amount of support that I wanted. While I still have some pain, the belt offers support and stabilization that makes sitting and standing much more comfortable. For reference, I am 5'4, 115 lbs and ordered the regular size. The petite size would have been too small.

This belt is amazing! I do not write reviews often, but I felt compelled to for this item. The functionality, the simplicity, and the craftsmanship are all A+ in my book. This belt has alleviated my back pain beyond what I expected. This was a bit of a gamble purchase for me. But I was in so much pain that I thought, "Why not"? I'm glad I took a chance. I'll use this belt whenever I experience lower back pain or sciatica. If you experience back pain like I do, you should give it a shot. If it doesn't work for you, at the very least makes it easy to return things. So the only thing you really have to lose is pain and discomfort!

I bought this because of reviews. Docs disagree on cause of my pain because hip is bone on bone. I get PRPs for that..symptom is groin pain. That means hip joint! But this is different. Pain in back hip down the leg to the knee. That is SI joint. I've done my research and this is what I found. I wish there was a forum where we could talk. Mayo has one but it's just about hip replacement. ONE surgeon said 'would you want me to do a hip replacement and find you still have this pain?' NO! God bless this surgeon. He could have scheduled hip replacement surgery and collected the money and I'd still be in pain. Im in physical therapy.. I had an adjustment yesterday. I can't find out how many before you get help from that! I woke up and couldn't walk. Pain was 10. I got the belt this AM. Manufacturer seller ? said wear it for two weeks straight to start. i see posts where people aren;t doing that. Follow directions. I'm not ready for a nursing home! so am doing all I can. If anyone has a forum about this SI stuff would you please contact me? JAYLYNHUSHMAIL AT GMAIL. Docs can't agree...many say hip replacement but the PRPs have helped the hip joint...symptom GROIN PAIN. It's helped for 3 years now. This is DIFFERENT. OH and I gave this belt a 5 star....seems to be helping me to walk so GREAT! I think I'll order another one in case this one fails...so I;m not without help. I had been dealing with the pain mostly by doing certain stretches. My daughter bought this for me this past November and it has helped a lot with my hip pain. ** Sometimes these types of products are just a gimmick but not this one if worn properly around the hip below the waist & below your belly button it will help relieve hip pain.Since November I lost 30lbs and bought a replacement in a smaller size (weight loss NOT because of the hip brace). I also have issues where one side of my hip will drop and it takes a visit to the chiropractor to get pain relief.I recently wore the brace during a workout at the gym and was surprised how well it helped with being able to complete certain abdominal exercises I recently started struggling with being able to complete.*** If the brace is on too tight or the SIZE is too SMALL and you do any type of movement sometimes it will cause the brace roll or fold down at the top. Also, if the brace is too BIG on you then it is less likely to relieve your hip pain.

Definitely helped my hip flexor/SI joint discomfort. I have every type of brace and this one helps tremendously. Good quality and value. Slim design is good to hide under clothes. Buy it if you want relief!
