Most found it comfortable for all-day wear during activities. Some noted the pad creates a visible bulge and positioning requires adjustment. Fantastic !!!!!!!!

Ive been struggling at work and in fact can't work !!!!!! This device will keep me pain free and maintain my sanity while I wait for a surgical appointment. True to size and comfortable to wear. The trick to a comfortable fit is in adjusting the device and the correct positioning and amount of tension. Boxer style briefs are a must if you are going to wear this device. A very well made personal medical device. I'll likely order a second one so I always have a clean one on hand. Designed in the US and made in China, like all good products. 🤣Literally saved me from going insane and alleviated excruciating pain and allowedme to continue working for the couple of months while I waited for an appointment for surgery.

Sturdy and effective but bulky

I ordered this to replace another one from a different brand in which the velcro strap wore out pretty quickly. This belt is constructed much better in the sense that it stays put once you strap in. The velcro is made better than the other one I had. Two issues I have with it are 1) it's real bulky. The strap and the velcro pads are quite wide, and dig into my waist at times unless I have the two ends matched up perfectly, and 2) similar problem with the leg strap going through the middle. Once I get the end through the little loop and pull it back to attach the strap, the velcro digs into the back side of my leg. I've tried flipping the strap and that made it worse. Overall I like this one better than the last one, but jeez I wish comfort would have been a bigger consideration when this model was made, because it is otherwise quite effective.

Does the job well....

This belt is awesome. I'm a female fitness model/bodybuilder, 5'3", 46 years old and have an inguinal hernia from who knows what but I'm sure it was a combination of many pulling exercises. I refuse surgery at the moment. I'm not in any pain. I've had this belt since Nov 22, 2019, and so far it's doing its job of keeping the hernia in its place. After a week of wearing it consistently besides to bed, I can go a day without wearing it and my hernia does NOT pop out like it did. It's like my muscles are getting stronger and tighter as I exercise to keep the hernia down in its place. The fabric is soft and stretchy and adjustable just like a fabric abduction band I wear around my thighs while working out. The groin area is super soft and plushy yet firm and also adjustable. I'm not embarrassed wearing this belt, it just looks like a weight belt or a gym waist trainer of some sort but I'm always in gym clothing. I wear this on top of my leggings not under. The ONLY thing I'd change about this? To have COLOR choices. I'd prefer this to be black then I'd feel like a sumo black belt😁 and it wouldnt be so noticeable for other who are more conscious, in a medical kind of way....having maybe a tie dye color would be nice and fun. Honestly I think I'm going to dye mine because the white is starting to get dingy (I wear mine at the gym, in my car, at home, etc on top of my pants like I mentioned before)... hope this review helps. I definitely recommend this hernia belt. I don't notice I'm wearing it any more. 😁

Well made, good product

Very well made and allowed me to keep my active life until my hernia surgery. The velcro is very well made and super sticky. I would suggest this product for use while you're waiting on your surgery. Easily adjustable well made

It Helps!

Wasn't sure if this belt would be of any real help. But, surprisingly using it does seem to help. Purchased it to use primarily to go to the gym. Tried it on when it arrived to get accustomed and have found it to be effective in relieving the mild pain I had. So, I will tend to use it outside of the gym, since it has proven to be comfortable and easy to put on. You just have to make initial adjustments to fit your needs. I thought the pad provided would be to obtrusive, because of it's size. But, if it was any smaller it probably would not be very effective. Doesn't seem to be obviously noticeable, but loose clothing certainly would help. Also, looks to be well made, so it should last . Again, pleasantly surprised!

Quality Construction. Effective?

Construction quality is very good. I suppose no tow inguinal hernia are the same, but the pad on the belt does not cover my hernia location. It does keep it from protruding as much but barely. Another issue is the padding seems to be on the wrong side. In other words the padding is not towards the skin. The additional pad is installed on the skin side but it creates a huge bulge outward (not in the right location so no one is going to think I’m especially endowed…just defective😉). So that said, it is easy to put on and reasonable comfortable.

Used this under pretty extreme conditions

I developed a hernia shortly before participating in an event that involved repeatedly hiking up a mountain. I used this belt during the event and was able to complete a grueling day (22 miles, 16k elevation gain) with minimal discomfort. I only needed to use it for a month overall before I had surgery to repair the hernia, so I can't speak to how durable it is, but it served me well for the period when I most needed some extra support.

A Must Have

If you're in the position of being diagnosed with an Inguinal Hernia, this is a must have prior to and after surgery. Relatively comfortable and for the most part keeps everything in place. . Allows you to do most everything within reason. Even things like ice skating. Highly recommend this.

Works great

Bought this to help with a left side hernia. The belt is strong and comfortable and supports the muscles very well. I can continue with my normal daily activities without as much pain.

A short-term help for a larger problem.

An inguinal hernia is a weakness in the abdominal muscle wall that allows intestines to protrude. It is best resolved by surgery, but that interrupts life for several weeks. With this truss, the muscle wall has extra support to keep the "insides inside." I am still running, hiking, biking, but at a cautious level. I am pleased with the extra support until the surgery can occur.

Works Great

I have never had a hernia before, and I will admit it was freaking me out to feel my intestines in my groin area popping out of my abdomen. My main concern was strangulation of the intestine that could lead to a much worse problem. I get health care through the VA so it is not a straight forward process to get this taken care of, need approval from various departments, etc. I am still waiting for approval for surgery. In the meantime, the hernia was causing me some discomfort and psychological “fear” of the situation escalating. Many times throughout the day I had to push my intestines back in so that the “stuff“ flowing through them could be on the way to its ultimate destination. This product is preventing my intestines from popping out of my groin area as far as I can tell. I feel under the pad periodically to make sure things are ok. For the last several days I have been confident in walking on the tread mill and walking in general without a feeling of panic. I do appreciate the inventor of this product.

Wonderful. I used it pre surgery.

I had to wear it for months, until I could find time in my schedule to have surgery. My hernia was very serious. I had to keep pushing it back in. This thing saved my life.

Quick Delivery, Research 'n Be Careful. Consult a doctor to avoid a serious, dangerous complication.

Delivery was Very fast 'n glad it was. One Does need to careful using a hernia support belt but they Do have their uses used in certain situaions. This particular belt come with a packed "egg shaped" cloth which one can use inside a pocket to compress the area of the hernia ~ Inguinal (groin, most common). It is said that surgery is necessary, that the muscle tears do Not heal on their own..Good Fortune.

Works great in factory!

I don’t trust 5-star reviews, because I think they’re incentivized.I had the start of an inguinal hernia. I got this belt from my doctor’s recommendation. Just provides great support. I don’t even notice any pain after working a eight hour shift lifting 50+ pounds. Holds everything in place. It’s not very restricting.

Super relief you need this

Inguinal **** hernia moving out and in. This was super relief before surgery for a few weeks after it changed status and moved inside body. Outside body did not bother me but inside sure did. Wore outside underwear and slid to side very little to urinate.

Hernias are all different!

It works well! However, my opinion is that you shouldn't expect for it to work for you right away. Everyone has a different hernia. Some small, others large. This belt is an excellent base to customize a fit to your specific hernia. At first it it didn't keep my hernia in, Its a bit of trial and error. I added a rolled up sock to the pad pocket to add more pressure to my hernia. It works like a charm. The velcro is very strong. I just bought another for back up. Your skin is going to go through some stretching and all around uncomfortableness until you get used to working with the belt.Until I have $7,500 for my surgery, I feel that's going to be never at this point, this belt absolutely works and does the job well.

Great hernia belt consider buying black as there is no mention of washability

Bought this for my partner while waiting for hernia surgery. I had purchased the tan colored one first and ironically turned out I later needed the belt for my own hernia. The belt was starting to look dirty and there is no comment in the packaging about washing. I ended up buying a new black one instead. It gives great support and comfortable. The Velcro makes it easy to adjust and have used for a couple months now.
